I installed the Ram, but ever since i did my screen sporadically turns black. I did not have this issue previously. I am not sure if it was defective or what the reason might be.

Don't buy a new laptop, buy extra memory. Even if you do sell the laptop it will raise more money and sell quicker.

My only real complaint was i couldn't really track the transit/shipment so couldn't tell when it would arrive. That said, upon getting it, I was able to easily install and get it going. It helped and boosted my computer's speed significantly, going from 8 GB to 16 GB. Works perfectly. I hope to eventually order the 32 GB kit as well.

Inserted into Dell laptop without difficulty. Replaced all the DRAM. Was hoping for super slick performance after that but only noticed a slight improvement when multitasking. Load up speed not noticeably faster.
