Once I got past the services that were blocking the HDD clone it was really easy. This was the first time I have done this. A note for anyone upgrading a Dell laptop, get rid of Dell Support Assist. The hardest part was uninstalling this as Dell has a service that keeps reinstalling. After deleting the service, I could finally uninstall DellSuppirtAssist. I also did a defrag, chkdsk before cloning. This would have usefull info to procedure

I received the product, brought it to my local geek squad at best buy. The very next day I received a phone call and email stating that the drive was dead on arrival. They tested it on multiple computers, ran a multimeter on it and there was nothing emanating from the device.
